Crow Pose is often where arm balancing begins but it’s far from where the exploration ends. In this progressive skill-building workshop, Alexis will guide you through the mechanics, strength work, and smart progressions that make Crow Pose more accessible for newer practitioners while opening the door to dynamic variations and transitions for more experienced yogis. Rather than relying on momentum or force, you’ll learn how to build purposeful strength, efficient alignment, and confident control - the true foundation of sustainable arm balancing. Whether you’re working toward your first moment of lift-off or refining advanced variations, this workshop offers clear pathways to meet you where you are. What We’ll Explore - Foundations (for building confidence): Crow Pose (Kakasana/Bakasana) mechanics, smart wrist, core, and shoulder prep, safe entrances and exits, and how to find lift without jumping - Progressions (for growing your practice): Side Crow variations; Flying Crow, Baby Crow and Prop-supported exploration - Advanced Play (for stronger practitioners): Eka Pada Koundinyasana II, safe headstand variations, refining control, float, and stability This extended workshop is intentionally paced with plenty of rest, questions, and individualized support so you can explore without feeling rushed or overwhelmed.
