Alexis Jones

RYT 200, Certified Personal Trainer, Certified Barre Instructor

Alexis is a strong believer in movement medicine and its ability to help unite the body, mind & spirit. She began teaching barre and group fitness in 2013 after missing a physical and emotional movement practice from her gymnastics and dance upbringing. For the last 10 years, Alexis has taught barre, yoga, & led teacher trainings in Buti Yoga modalities around the country. She received her 200hr yoga teacher training in 2017, where vinyasa yoga became her main focus.

Alexis is a NASM Certified Personal Trainer and a Corrective Exercise Specialist—fueling her mission to help her students gain mobility, prevent injury & feel better in their bodies through safer body mechanics.

Expect her classes to be uplifting, energetic and informative. She enjoys incorporating strength building movements and guiding you through unexpected sequences to give her students the opportunity to tune inward & explore their physical and mental capacities while escaping external distractions. Her hope is for those who first come for a physical practice, leave with a mindfulness practice & connect to a deeper version of themselves.
