Riki Rattner
RYT 200
Riki Rattner, M.Ed., 200 E-RYT, found yoga during college and was immediately drawn in by how calm and connected she felt, body and mind. After graduating, she became a 4th-grade teacher in an under-funded elementary school in North Nashville. Yoga naturally made its way into her classroom, where simple breath and movement practices helped her and her students settle, focus, and feel safe. Witnessing those moments shifted something for Riki, and she was inspired to dive deeper. Riki went on to complete her 200-hour Hatha-Vinyasa training with Zuna Yoga in Ubud, Bali.
After integrating her yoga training into her 4th grade classroom, Riki founded BeWell in School, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that brings mindful breath and movement into school communities as proactive tools for self-regulation. Learn more and get involved on BeWell in School’s website.
Riki’s intention is to teach from a place of presence, authenticity, and love. She believes every person has a right to feel safe in their body and empowered by their breath—and she brings that philosophy into each class she leads, inviting students to feel grounded, connected, and purposefully powerful on and off the mat.
