Erika Porter has over 12 years of experience teaching yoga and several years leading teacher trainings. She is currently pursing a Doctorate in Physical Therapy to blend the art of yoga with the science of rehabilitation for a holistic approach to movement and wellness.

Have you always had an interest to join a yoga class but felt uncertain if yoga was right for you? Have you been practicing for years but wish you had more structure and confidence in your practice? The initial step tends to be the most difficult one. As a beginner entering a yoga studio, it's quite common to feel intimidated. However, there's a common misunderstanding that you need to be flexible or strong to engage in creating a yoga practice. In reality, you can begin your yoga journey exactly where you are, right now.

Flow Foundations is a versatile 3-part series designed to help students dive into the fundamentals of yoga postures (asana) and breathwork (pranayama). Whether you're new to yoga or looking to revisit and refine your practice, this series offers a highly accessible and balanced approach that builds confidence, strength, and flexibility from the ground up.

You can choose to immerse yourself in the full weekend experience or drop into individual sessions to focus on specific aspects of the practice. Flow Foundations is ideal for beginners starting their yoga journey and intermediate students seeking to deepen their understanding and connection to the basics.

Dates & Times:

  • Friday, Jan. 31st: 6:00–8:00pm 

  • Saturday, Feb. 1st: 12:30–2:30pm

  • Sunday, Feb. 2nd: 1:30–3:30pm

    Pricing:

$50 per day

$125 for the full weekend

Each session will begin with a short movement practice followed by lecture deep-diving into the day’s topics, and will close with an asana clinic - an interactive discussion and demonstration of the yoga postures.
